Creating a Hall fit for future generations of Stationers - The Hall is our home and most significant asset, it is the third oldest Hall in the City and the birthplace of copyright and of the spread of literacy and democracy throughout the UK; all still key values and unique to our history.
Built-in the 17th century, Stationers' Hall now needs modernising to make it a fit and suitable home for both Stationers' and for our guests, who have needs more in keeping with the 21st century. 'Vision 350' is a project designed to make our Hall more accessible to everyone and sustainable as we move towards celebrating its 350th anniversary in 2023.

The archaeologists are continuing their work at Stationers' Hall in line with legal requirements to record, and where possible, to protect our heritage. We hope to have an interview with the archaeologist available shortly but here are some photos of items retrieved from the trenches so far to whet your appetite.

The much anticipated day finally dawned and it was glorious. The building looked stunning, the garden beautiful and there was much excitement.

Progress is being made quite speedily now on the Vision 350 project and it is good at last to be able to see the link building in the flesh, so to speak!

The beautiful garden at Stationers' Hall has been rather ravaged by the building works. It has been dug up by archaeologists, used as a storage depot by the Company and the builders, and generally trampled as huge bits of machinery and supplies have been moved through it. But its rescue has started!

Thanks to attention being paid to the roof and air cooling installation the development at the Hall means a dry and more comfortable venue for members' events and commercial hire when it reopens in the summer.
