STATIONERS’ HALL CHARITY

As a Grade 1 listed monument, Stationers’ Hall holds a special place in the history of the City of London.  To enable public access and preserve its fabric, we need to establish an endowment to generate income, for this purpose The Stationers’ Hall Charity was created.

(Registered Charity Number 1169753)

Stationers’ Hall Charity is governed by its constitution as a CIO by the Charity Commission. The objects of the CIO are for the public benefit as follows:

a) The advancement of education and learning, including but not limited to education in relation to the Hall, Library and Archive of the Stationers’ Company, primarily by the provision of public access; and

b) the preservation, maintenance and enhancement of Stationers’ Hall and its immediate environs, and the
preservation and conservation of artefacts and items of historic or artistic interest or merit, including but not
limited to the Library and Archive of the Stationers’ Company.

Fundraising for Stationers’ Hall Charity is being managed by the Stationers’ Company through its Hall Fund Raising Committee.
